It's all because of PlugY that may work with most of d2 mods including cLoD.PS: As for realm - online never had shared/multipage stash and even more, as Rishab said already - there was alot less space for items before. For singleplayer/local save:I think there is no way to do this without a mod like PlugY or a tool to open two instances of the game simultaneously. I would advise checking first if the game persists after leaving, without dropping any items.
